VBS! Our Cuero Community Vacation Bible School at St. Mark's begins this Monday, 9am. Fill out child registration forms in advance or come earlier Monday morning to fill them out. Welcome to all!!!

Today is Palm & Passion Sunday. We remember the triumphal entry of Jesus and his passion (suffering), as he is led to the cross. Today marks the beginning of Holy Week, the most sacred time of year for us. “Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!”
TONIGHT!!! At St. Mark’s, Cuero. 7pm. TLU CHOIR. Free. No tickets needed. ALL are invited.
Bible Study: “Gospel According to John” (verse by verse). We are using low tech supplemented with high tech. We continue to welcome all to attend Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm.
Tonight we continue with the simple gospel (good news) message from Ephesians 2:8-10. Worship at 5:45pm with meal and fellowship following. All are welcome!
At noon today in the “Chapel Without Walls” we had our ecumenical Ash Wednesday service led by our Presbyterian, Methodist, Episcopal, and Lutheran clergy.
Welcome to our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper Tonight 6-7:30pm Prepared and served from our newly renovated kitchen by our Church Council and faithful volunteers.
Our Confirmation Students prepared the ashes for Ash Wednesday. They burned the palm branches from last year’s Palm Sunday.

These beautiful quilts were made for Lutheran World Relief. Wonderful members of our St. Mark's Church family work tirelessly on them every Thursday in the Esplanade vicarage. In addition to the quilts pillowcase, dresses, and school bags are also made for Lutheran World Relief. A drive will be held this August to collect school supplies to fill the bags. The items were displayed in church for blessing. Please keep an eye out for more information for the school supplies drive when we near that time!
